We are working with a well-established container haulage company based in Immingham, looking to appoint a proactive and hands-on Depot Manager to oversee their busy operation.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where you will play a key role in driving efficiency, compliance, and team performance.The Role:As Depot Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the depot, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. You will lead from the front, managing drivers, planners, and office staff, while maintaining high service standards for customers.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring all deliveries and collections run efficientlyManage and support a team of drivers and office staffEnsure full compliance with transport regulations, including driver hours and vehicle maintenanceMonitor KPIs, performance, and costs to drive operational improvementsBuild and maintain a cost efficient operation, driving customer retention and spendHandle any operational issues, including delays, breakdowns, and driver queries and depot maintenance Requirements:Proven experience within container haulage or general haulage operationsPrevious experience in a supervisory or management roleStrong knowledge of UK transport compliance and regulationsExcellent leadership and communication skill
