Financial Accountant
This amazing law firm are seeking a Financial Accountant to play a key role within Central Finance. You will take ownership of statutory accounts and financial statements, manage the audit and tax processes, and support wider business services with reporting, budgeting and forecasting.This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.Key Responsibilities in this Financial Accountant position -Financial AccountingProduce consolidated statutory financial statementsPrepare reconciliations and supporting schedulesPrepare year-end audit files and liaise with external auditors and tax advisersEnsure compliance with finance policies and accounting standardsAssist with LLP tax computationsManage the preparation and submission of UK VAT returnsBusiness PartneringProduce monthly cost centre reportingHold regular update meetings with budget holdersPrepare overhead budgets and assist with forecastingOther ResponsibilitiesDocument finance processes and policiesSupport key finance projects as requiredProvide cover and assistance across the team during busy periodsTo be successful in this Financial Accountant position, they are looking for someone who -Experience and QualificationsQualified ACA (from practice), ACCA, CIMA or equivalentMinimum of 2 years'' post-qualification experience(experience in a law firm or professional services environment is desirable but not essential)Skills and At
