We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Salaried GP to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality primary care services, including consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and preventative care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure our patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care. We are a GP training practice and are at sessional level for Research. We use SystemOne clinical system. As a Salaried GP you will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered patients.Main duties of the job

Provide general medical services to registered patientsConduct face-to-face, telephone, and online consultationsManage acute and chronic conditions, including prescribing and referralsParticipate in clinical meetings and contribute to service developmentSupport the training and supervision of medical students and junior staff (if applicable)Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient recordsAbout us

Clinical Responsibilities:In accordance with the Practice timetable, as agreed, the Salaried GP will make him/her-self available to undertake a variety of duties including;Surgery consultations, telephone consultations, visiting patients at home and in nursing homes, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.Reviewing patient test results as and when requiredIn consultation with patients and in line with current Practice disease management protocol, developing care plans for healthMaking professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisationScreening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illnessCover all the clinical management of the patients in surgery as appropriate including initiating investigations, reviewing results, making referrals to secondary care or to other providers as appropriateEnsuring appropriate follow up of patientsRecording clear and contemporaneous computerised consultation notes to agreed standardsTo collect and record data for the purposes of the QOFCompiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions (avoiding hand-written prescriptions whenever possible)Prescribing generically whenever appropriately and in accordance with the Practice prescribing formulary, NICE guidance and Good Prescribing Practice (as defined by British National Formulary guidance)In general the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.Person Specification

GMC registered with a license to practiceInclusion on the NHS Performers ListExcellent clinical, diagnostic, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to providing patient-centred careCommitment to patient safety and qualityWorking well in a multidisciplinary environmentAwareness of and compliance with all relevant national clinical policies and guidelinesA good working knowledge of the GP contract, QOF, enhanced services, Universal Offer and Primary CareDisclosure and Barring Service Check
