Senior Gas Turbine Engineering Consultant Location: South London (with occasional international travel) Role Overview Conduct detailed assessments and failure investigations of turbine components. Provide technical advice to improve performance, reliability, and risk management. Produce clear, high-quality reports and presentations. Visit client sites in the UK and abroad as required. Requirements Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (PhD desirable). Strong knowledge of gas/steam turbines and materials. Experience in component assessments, failure investigations, and data analysis. Excellent written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel at short notice; driving licence preferred. Desirable Expertise Turbine material behaviour and degradation. Life assessments and failure mechanism analysis.
