To achieve this, we register qualified dental professionals, set standards for the dental team, investigate complaints about dental professionals'' fitness to practise, and work to ensure the quality of dental education. The GDC employs approximately 400 staff based across a corporate centre in London and an operational hub in Birmingham. We also engage the services of over 500 associates and panellists who sit on our statutory committees, hearings and fitness to practise panels.
