As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning, development, and care of young children in a nursery setting. Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with Nursery Lead to plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of children in line with the EYFS framework.Provide tailored support to children with special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities, adapting activities and resources to accommodate their requirements.Observe and assess children''s progress and development, using tools and techniques specified by the EYFS framework, and provide feedback to support ongoing assessment and planning for children''s learning.Build positive relationships with parents or caregivers, involving them in their child''s learning journey, providing feedback on their child''s progress, and offering advice and support.Ensure health and safety requirements are met, including risk assessments, supervision of children, and promoting good hygiene practices.Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills related to the EYFS framework, child development, safeguarding, and first aid.
