A growing manufacturing client of ours is currently in the market to join the business as a Product Engineer. As a Product Engineer, you are responsible for providing manufacturing documentation and engineering support to ensure the day-to-day manufacturing build requirements are met. They provide the interface between customer requirements (Parts Lists andamp; Drawings) and my client and are required to convert this information into documents and formats that can be understood and used by those departments.The right candidate will meet the following requirements: Experience of electronic assembly is essential (SMT, PCB, electro-mechanical assembly, wiring etc)Understanding technical drawings and electronic component descriptions is essential.Experience of using Microsoft Word to create production documents is desirable.Previous experience in an Engineering/Technician role is desirable.Experience of mechanical assembly is an advantage.Understanding MRP Stock Control Software is advantageous.Experience of Continuous Improvement is a benefit.Possession of recognized engineering qualifications (A Level, BTEC or higher) is a benefit.A trade test may be required to confirm possession of the required skills.Day-to-day duties include: Inputting and checking Bills of Materials.Planning, creating, and updating detailed Assembly Aids (AA''s) and ensuring these conform to customer requirements.Configuration control of all supplied documents andamp; engineering packs.Carry out customer d
