A dynamic and versatile teacher is required to join a well-regarded Independent school in Barnet for a full-time, permanent position commencing in September. This role will involve teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16) alongside teaching Geography to Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
• Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment in both subjects.
• Assess and track student progress, providing effective feedback in both subjects.
• Contribute to the wider life of the Performing Arts and Humanities departments and the school.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Music and/or Geography.
• Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Music and Geography curricula.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for both Music and Geography and the ability to inspire students.
