Anderselite are working with a well known tier 1 contractor who are seeking a Commercial Manager to join their Civils division.Role : Commercial ManagerLocation : EnfieldSalary : £70-£87k + car/car allowance £5250 paThis £120M project involves the remediation of the existing site and construction of roads, bridges and flood mitigation measures as well as electricity, gas, communications, water connections and hectares of new landscaped parkland areas.Responsibilities

Actively participate in the implementation of project commercial start up procedures across the regionLine management of the regional commercial teamEnsure that materials and off site services are procured in an efficient manner with capable organisations in accordance with the client''s procurement policy and ensure appropriate records are keptPrepare the basis of work package contents sheets and ensure the project team contribute and complete their relevant sectionsEnsure inclusive invitations to tender are prepared and full tender evaluations are completed. Make recommendations to award, procurement processWork with supply chain to promote and measure continuous improvement in terms of cost, quality and learning of all partiesMaximise cash flow through timely preparation of valuations, submission of invoices and receipt of paymentManage prompt preparation and settlement of final accounts, including variations, claims and disputesDevelop a strategy for concluding client negotiationsReview plant and equipment schedules to ensure efficiency of useProduce accurate and timely CVR reports and forecasts and contribute toward the setting of financial targetsIdentify early project risks and opportunities and ensure that they are managedQualifications

Formal qualification in quantity surveying or commercial managementPrevious experience managing commercial activities across multiple infrastructure projects at any one timeExperience working on NEC contracts is essentialChartered or working towards chartership is advantageousTo be considered for this role, please send me an updated CV to - teddy.jordan@anderselite.com
