Required - Vehicle Technician/Mechanic

What you can expect as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic:

• Full Time/Permanent
• Location - Broxbourne/Nazing
• Salaries: -30,000 - -45,000 dependent on experience
• Monday - Friday 8am-5:30pm
• Saturday mornings 9am-1pm (Negotiable)
• Free on-site parking

The Role of a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic:

• Carry out services on all makes and models of vehicles
• Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles - such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation
• Identify issues with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment
• General maintenance and repairs
• Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs)
• Suspension work
• Repairs on lights
• Repairing and replacing exhausts
• Repairing and replacing clutches
• Dealing with gearboxes
• Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.
• Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed

Vehicle Technician/Mechanic Requirements:

• NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 3 or Level 2 accepted with a minimum of 3 years services
• Hold a full valid driver license.
• Previous garage experience required, any commercial vehicle experience is beneficial but not essential
