Shifts – Shifts available working 4 on 4 off – Days 6am – 6pm or Nights 6pm – 6am

Are you an experienced warehouse professional ready to join a fast-paced and well-organised logistics team?

Our client, a well-established and growing company based in Rochester, is looking for skilled Warehouse Operatives to help support their busy operation and maintain an efficient warehouse workflow.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurately pick customer orders and prepare for dispatch
• Unload incoming goods and safely rack items into storage
• Load and unload lorries in line with delivery schedules
• Pick materials and ingredients for production activities
• Return completed pallets from production back to storage
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe warehouse environment
• Assist other departments and team members as required
• Complete general warehouse duties and ad-hoc tasks

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Counterbalance and High Reach Forklift licences – If you only hold one of these licences, then the client is willing to train you on the other.
• Strong recent experience using FLTs in a warehouse setting
• Familiarity with IT-based stock control systems
• Excellent understanding of warehouse operations and procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, time-sensitive environment
• Attention to detail and understanding of accurate stock control
