Jackson Hogg are partnering with a well manufacturer based in Darlington, to recruit a Finance Manager.This is a hands-on role with full ownership of the site''s finance function. Reporting directly into Group, you will act as the No.1 in finance on site, leading reporting, controls and budgets, while partnering closely with the Site General Manager to drive performance.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional who enjoys being close to the numbers and making a tangible impact day to day.Key Responsibilities

Full ownership of monthly reporting: PandL, balance sheet, journals, cashflows and reconciliations to strict deadlinesMain finance contact for senior site staff, providing guidance and insightAnnual budget preparation and ad-hoc forecasting for the Darlington siteHands-on management of AP/AR, petty cash, payroll journals and daily sales reportingClose working with the Group Purchasing Manager and site leadership on procurement and performance improvementYear-end audit preparation, government returns and statutory submissionsSupport and oversight of WIP, stock control and ERP processesAttend site and Group finance meetings, providing insight to drive performanceWhat we''re looking for

Qualified accountant with at least 5 years'' experienceProven experience, ideally within manufacturing or related industriesExperience managing and developing a small finance teamStrong organisational skills, excellent IT ability and hands-on mindsetComfortable working as the go-to finance lead at site level, while liaising with GroupWhy join?
