Quality Assurance EngineerLuton Paying up to 45p/h (Inside IR35) Responsibilities:Deliver independent software assurance during the design, development, test, and release phasesDevelop and maintain Software Quality Assurance Plans aligned with project and contractual requirementsEstimate and manage quality assurance resources for multiple projectsEvaluate suppliers and subcontractors for their ability to meet required software quality standardsConduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal processes and industry standardsParticipate in software lifecycle reviews, including design reviews, code inspections, and release approvalsPerform software conformity reviews and configuration auditsVerify and approve the release of deliverable software products Experience required:A degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Software, Quality, Manufacturing, or a similarly complex industry (e.g. Defence, Aerospace, or regulated environments)Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in software quality assuranceUnderstanding of standards such as AS9100, ISO9001, and continuous improvement methodologiesFamiliarity with airborne software standards (e.g. RTCA/DO-178C, AS9115, AQAP-2210)Experience in high-precision or mission-critical manufacturing environmentsGained Exposure to software tools such as DOORS, Dimensions, or other requirements/configuration management platformsPrior background in software development or QA - DesirableDisclaimer:This vacancy is being
