Product Engineer Pay Rate: £45 - £50 Ltd Location: Tewkesbury Contract: 6x Months Rolling Sector: Aerospace Start Date: ASAP About the Role: My client is seeking a seasoned Product Engineer to join the Tewkesbury based team on a 6-month rolling contract. In this role, you ll contribute to the design, development, and testing of hydraulic components used in commercial and military aircraft including flight and engine control systems. This is a hands-on engineering position requiring strong technical grounding, cross-functional collaboration, and clear communication across teams. The work is based primarily on-site, with some flexibility available. Key Responsibilities: Support the design and development of hydraulic components for aerospace applications. Conduct and implement FMEAs, including PFMEAs, and develop mitigation actions through to closure. Participate in APQP activities and generate process flow diagrams to support development processes. Interpret technical drawings, support tooling definition and liaise with Design, AandT, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. Write clear assembly instructions and production worksheets (strong MS Word skills essential). Conduct performance calculations using Teamcenter when required. Support hydraulic testing: troubleshoot test issues and assist test technicians with procedural clarity.
