We''re building a pioneering team at a cutting-edge test and evaluation facility at our Cambridgeshire HQ. We''re seeking a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer with at least 5 years of experience to lead the full engineering lifecycle of secure networks from requirements gathering and system design through to implementation, testing, commissioning, and ongoing support. You will work with unprecedented customer access, cutting-edge technologies, and industry-best practices to shape the IT infrastructure of a revolutionary synthetic test and evaluation system. Key Responsibilities: Translate business needs from non-technical stakeholders into technical specifications. Design, implement, and support secure network infrastructures. Provide 3rd-line support and act as a technical mentor to junior engineers. Manage the configuration and deployment of Windows Server environments (2022/2025). Oversee multi-vendor systems (FortiGate, Cisco, Dell) and virtualization platforms. Ensure projects meet requirements and follow change management protocols.
