A rapidly expanding international distributor in the battery sector is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead business development across the South of England. With over 15 years of success in overseas markets and a strong first year in the UK, achieving over -1 million in profit, the company is now focused on accelerating its national presence. Representing one of the few UK distributors of a globally recognised battery brand, this role offers the opportunity to shape a key territory and contribute directly to growth.
The Opportunity
This is a remote, field based role offering full autonomy and strategic ownership of the Southern region. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and driving revenue growth in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development, Identify, engage, and convert new customers across the South of England
- Territory Strategy, Develop and execute a regional sales plan aligned with company growth objectives
- Client Relationship Management, Build strong, long term partnerships with stakeholders in access platform and battery related industries
- Sales Execution, Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to negotiation and contract closure
- Reporting and Accountability, Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, forecasts, and performance metrics
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Relevant Experience, Background in battery sales or selling into access platform businesses is essential
- Field Sales Expertise, Proven success in remote or territory based sales roles
- Hunter Mentality, Self motivated, proactive, and confident in generating and managing your own leads
- Strong Communicator, Skilled in presenting solutions, negotiating deals, and building rapport
- Adaptable and Resilient, Comfortable working independently in a dynamic, evolving market

Package
- Base Salary: -50,000 to -60,000 per annum
- Car Allowance: -450 per month
- Bonus Scheme: Uncapped performance-based bonus structure, with a typical first-year OTE of -12,000 to -15,000
- Annual Leave: 20 days holiday entitlement, plus UK bank holidays and additional leave over the Christmas period
- Pension: Competitive company pension scheme
