We are a much loved award winning dog friendly café situated on the busy Kings Road, Chelsea. We are looking for an experienced creative café cook to join our team full time and assist in creating sophisticated classic café meals as well as simple human grade dog treats. The ideal candidate should have a real passion for creating nutritious, exciting meals for both people and dogs, and have an innovative mind.

Responsibilities would include the following:Prepping and cooking various ingredients such as meats and vegetablesCooking dishes and creating seasonal menuWorking as part of a team and collaborating with the cooks to prepare meals and create a fluid workflowCleaning up the kitchen space after cooking each meal and ensuring the prep area and kitchen is cleaned and sanitised at the end of the shiftMaintaining a pantry stock record regularlyOrdering and restocking the pantry and fridge as necessaryKeeping up high standards of food hygiene and keeping record of thisProperly storing food items at appropriate temperaturesMaintain communication with staff working on the café floor to ensure quality and customer satisfaction

QualificationsProven

experience in food preparation and cooking

within a café or restaurant settingStrong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and presentationKnowledge of

food safety regulations and best practicesBackground in kitchen operations and teamworkPrevious serving experience is a plus, enhancing customer service skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards

Working hoursMonday-Sunday5 days a week40-43 hours a week
