Head Chef

We have an exciting opportunity to become our new Head Chef at one of our thriving Conference Venues in Warwick, CV32.We are a fresh food led operation that is open 7 days a week. As our Head Chef you will be required to assist the Executive Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef in the smooth running of this busy Conference and Events centre. We pride ourselves on the high quality of our offer with specialist chefs on all sections of the kitchen. A fresh food background and ability to cook a variety of cuisines from around the world is essential. We also place a strong emphasis on guest interaction during service, so you must be personable, approachable, and well-presented.This a permanent position working 40 hours per week, straight shifts, 5 out of 7 days. 1 in 2 Saturdays or Sundays off during quiet periods, 1 in 3 Saturdays or Sundays off during busy periods, to suit the business needs.We cater for up to 350 guests daily, offering a variety of freshly prepared meals, including hot and continental breakfasts, as well as lunches and dinners with both hot and cold options. All our dishes are made from scratch using fresh ingredients, including our selection of handcrafted desserts. In addition to daily service, we also host private dining events and outdoor cooking experiences, featuring BBQs, homemade pizzas, and hog roasts.The venue is easily commutable from Warwick, Leamington Spa, Coventry, and the surrounding areas, including Solihull, Nuneaton, and Stratford-upon-AvonWilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. You will be responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen and the preparation and cooking of all dishes. You must be responsible, dedicated and a strong leader with the ability to manage a brigade of chefs across all service(s). You will be able support the Chef Manager in training and developing the team.You will also be responsible for delivering consistent food standards following both the Wilson Vale brand standards and also adding that additional flair to our service(s). You will need fresh and current menu ideas and must be able to show flare in your work.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:LOVE
