Thames Estuary Partnership is seeking an experienced and passionate Learning and Engagement Manager to lead the development and delivery of innovative education, training, and community engagement programmes focused on ocean literacy, climate resilience, and environmental sustainability across the River Thames and Estuary. This role will play a key part in delivering the Thames Catchment Community Eels Project, working collaboratively with partners to create engaging, inclusive educational initiatives and outreach programmes, particularly for under-served communities and young people exploring green careers. The role is fixed-term for 9 months with the possibility of extension (subject to funding). We are looking for someone with: Experience in environmental education, sustainability, community engagement, or a related field Strong programme or project management experience Experience developing educational content, workshops, or learning programmes Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership management skills Passion for climate resilience, conservation, sustainability, or ocean literacy Strong communication and organisational skills Experience working with charities, environmental organisations, local authorities, education providers, or community-focused programmes would be highly beneficial.
