Our client is a market leader in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-end commercial fit-out sector in the UK is currently looking for a Fit-out Estimator to join their team.The role will involve preparing accurate cost estimates for prestigious fit-out projects within commercial buildings, education, healthcare, and workplace sectors.Key Responsibilities:Produce detailed quotations and tender returns based on architectural drawings, specifications, and client requirementsLiaise with internal departments (design, production, and contracts) to ensure clarity and accuracy in costingsSource and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricingIdentify value engineering opportunities and provide commercial input during design stagesAttend pre- and post-tender meetings when required, occasionally visiting project sitesAssist with project handovers to the delivery teamIdeal Candidate:Previous estimating experience within interior fit-out, washrooms, joinery, or specialist subcontractingStrong understanding of technical drawings and specificationsCommercially astute with excellent numeracy and attention to detailConfident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholdersExperience using estimating software or Excel to compile BOQs and take-offsBenefits:Opportunity to work for a well-established and respected specialist contractorLong-term progression opportunities within a growing commercial tea
