The Role

We are seeking a personable and professional

Assistant General Manager

to support the General Manager and play a key role in the smooth running of the restaurant. You''ll be a calm, confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, using initiative to solve problems while keeping the team motivated and service standards consistently high. This is a hands-on role where you''ll lead by example, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience while supporting the operational and financial success of the business. Working closes with the Owner/Executive Chef.About You

Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant General Manager

Natural leader with excellent communication and organisational skills

Calm under pressure with a professional, approachable manner

Strong eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high standards

Passionate about food, drink, and delivering outstanding hospitality

Able to use initiative and take ownership when required

Key Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in leading daily operations and the wider team

Take charge of the restaurant in the GM''s absence, ensuring seamless service

Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a positive culture

Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to feedback with professionalism

Manage scheduling, labour budgets, and costs effectively

Ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing, and company policies

Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to support menu changes, events, and promotions

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and oversee stock control
