Role Overview One of my local goverment clients is seeking an experienced Painter and Decorator to support maintenance and improvement works across council-owned properties and facilities. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services across a variety of settings. Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming. Apply paint, wallpaper, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Ensure work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations. Work both independently and as part of a team across different sites in the borough. Requirements Proven experience in painting and decorating (ideally within a local authority or public sector environment). Full UK driving license (desirable).
