:As the Restaurant Manager you will ensure that every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable dining experience. You will oversee the day-to-day restaurant operations, lead and inspire the team, and maintain the highest standard of service and hospitality. You will play a key role in creating a positive environment for both guests and staff, ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity.Key responsibilities include but not limited to:Manage all aspects of the restaurant, including service, staffing, and operational efficiencyUphold and exceed fine dining standards, delivering exceptional guest experiencesTrain, mentor and develop the team to ensure a cohesive and high-performing workforceCollaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a synchronized and efficient service flowWith the Head of FandB, monitor and control budgets, ensuring profitability without compromising qualityHandle guest feedback professionally, ensuring satisfaction and loyaltyTake responsibility for safeguarding practices, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all guests and team membersAssist the Head of FandB, Executive Chef, Food-To-Go Manager and Wine Ambassador to develop and execute a cyclical programme of events for Waddesdons catering outlets, in collaboration with the Events Team, Marketing and as appropriate.Compiling all paperwork and events sheets that are related to any private event on site.Assist in ensuring that all events across property are staffed, supplied, and run efficiently, as per estimates, costings and schedules.Comply with financial procedures such as hours imputing, change requests and portion control.Ensure takings and the reconciliation of tills with daily takings.Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter for this role:Proven experience managing fine dining establishmentsA keen eye for detail and passion for delivering excellent serviceStrong leadership and team development skills, fostering a culture of inclusion and belongingA proactive and organized approach to problem solvingOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsA focus on creating a welcoming and professional environment for both guests and team membersMust hold a Full UK Driving LicenseExperience with Microsoft excel and restaurant reservation systems preferableYou love food and drink and are passionate about delivering service excellenceA desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative environmentYou will be a great fit if:You are passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences and take pride in leading by example. - On starting with us , you will receive 25 days annual leave per year plus 8 public holidays pro-rata. Stay with us for 3 years and this rises to 28 days, 30 days after five years and 32 days after 10 years.Sick pay

-if you become ill, one week of sick pay during your first 3 months. This rises to a maximum of 3 months full pay within a rolling 12-month period. After four years you also receive a further 3 months at half pay in the rolling 12-month period.Pension

- We will top up your pension by matching any contribution you make, up to 10% of your basic salary.Income Protection

on completing one year of continuous service, income protection may be available at 50% of basic salary for a maximum of 5 years.Life Assurance
