RECfinancial is working with an impressive PE backed business based in Leicestershire in the appointment of a new Financial Controller, the role is not your typical FC role as the role will also have a significant amount of commercial exposure. The role is based at an impressive office which is in North Leicestershire, the role is easily commutable from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, a short drive from South Nottingham, Derby and also Coventry / Warwickshire. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Financial Controller role is a strategic appointment to the business. The role is really exciting as it offers a lot more than the typical FC role and will also include a considerable amount of business partnering and working with non finance staff. The role has a considerable commercial element and the business is keen to hire a candidate who is keen to be more than a Financial Controller. Responsibilities will include the management of a small team, production of the month end, year end, budgeting and forecasting, balance sheet controls, analysis and added value and business partnering with non finance teams. The business is great and over the last ten years has grown close to 100 million in turnover with an ebitda of 30 million. They have some really exciting growth plans for the next 5 years.
