As a Metrologist, you will be based at the Coventry Laboratory and be required to undertake calibration and certification of Dimensional Measuring equipment and Reference Masters in line with the laboratorys approved operating procedures and maintain administrative reporting and accurate records.

What we would like from the Metrologist:

• Have relevant mechanical engineering qualifications or experience or have undertaken an appropriate engineering apprenticeship followed by substantial experience in standards room and/or gauge inspection techniques
• Have experience of inspection techniques in order to relate to customer applications and the subject is essential
• Have an in-depth knowledge of terminology specific to the industry
• Be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of dimensional metrology
• Be able to work independently, have good communication, and organisational and IT skills

• 23 days annual leave (increases by 1 day per year of service up to 28 days)
