An established Inbound Tour Operator is seeking an experienced Group Sales Consultant to join them at this exciting time of expansion in the tailor-made group holidays team. Although being a lead in the UK domestic market, this fabulous travel company are also a key player in escorted European holidays. Operating to multiple destinations worldwide, their team members love holidays as much as their customers, and they are looking for someone who are share this passion! JOB DESCRIPTION:Sourcing, and contacting new customers predominantly via telephone and email with the occasional in-person visitsMaintaining, developing, and building relationships with existing customers, whilst identifying their needs to tailor-make group holidaysHandling, processing, and confirming customer enquiriesMeeting targets and deadlinesSourcing, negotiating rates, and contracting hotelsResearching, and creating bespoke itinerariesPreparing promotional materials for customers to help sell the holidaysProcessing and preparing correspondence via email and postProcessing payments and invoicesOccasional off-site visits to customers and business partners EXPERIENCEThe ideal candidate will have a passion for the travel industry, a background in travel and tourism, or a minimum of two years working in a sales role.
