Our client close to Matlock are on the lookout for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Technician / Mechanical Fitter / Contract Engineer / Multiskilled engineer to join thier team. Salary: 30 - 35 per hour Working hours: 12hr days and nights shift pattern Responsibilities: Maintaining and repairing mechanical systems and equipment Ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely. Diagnosing faults, performing routine maintenance, and implementing preventative measures to minimise downtime. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive approach and a keen eye for detail. Skills and experience: A recognised mechanical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds) Proven experience in a maintenance mechanical role Experience in a medium to heavy engineering enviroment Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills and a commitment to health and safety standards Please contact Elle at Questech for more information or apply and we will be in touch!
