Our Client has a requirement for a Site Supervisor, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Reading. Job Role Responsibilities: Review mechanical/electrical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to understand the design intent and requirementsConduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress and quality of mechanical and electrical installations, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systemsVerify that materials, equipment, and workmanship comply with the approved specifications and drawingsIdentify any defects or non-conformances and work with the contractors to ensure timely corrective actions are takenMaintain detailed records of site inspections, test results, and any issues or deviations from the approved plansAttend project meetings and provide updates on the status of both mechanical and electrical systemsCoordinate with other trades, such as structural, civil, and building services, to ensure the mechanical and electrical systems are integrated properlyReview and approve contractor invoices and change orders related to the mechanical and electrical scope of workEnsure that both mechanical and electrical systems are tested and commissioned according to the project requirementsProvide guidance and support to the client or project manager on mechanical and electrical-related matters Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical/Electrical Clerk of Works, NEC3/NEC4
