This is a long-term, full-time position ideal for an experienced caretaker or site supervisor who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure, and well-presented school environment.

School Caretaker - The Role

As School Caretaker, you will play a key role in the day-to-day maintenance and security of the school site. Your responsibilities will include:
* Opening and closing the school premises daily
* Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks
* Ensuring the building and grounds are safe, clean, and secure
* Conducting regular health and safety checks
* Managing site security, including alarms and key holding
* Liaising with contractors and overseeing site-related works
* Supporting with room setups for school events and activities

School Caretaker - The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Previous caretaking, site supervisor, or facilities experience (school experience desirable)
* Basic maintenance and DIY skills
* A strong understanding of health and safety procedures
* Good organisational and time-management skills
* A flexible and dependable approach
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
