Accounts Assistant

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to start work ASAP in St Helens. The role will initially start on a contract basis with the possibility of going permanent. Salary is c 25-28,000 per annum plus holidays, pension etc Key Responsibilities: Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently Assisting with accounts payable and receivable tasks Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc administrative duties Requirements: Previous experience in processing invoices is essential Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and organisational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and QuickBooks and/or Sage or similar software.
