Responsibilities: Planning various loads for delivery across the country Negotiating rates for delivery with third party suppliers Preparing and processing delivery documentation Supervising the company driver to ensure deliveries are made in the quickest and most cost effective manner Monitoring the status of deliveries and updating customers where necessary Producing reports on monthly transport spend Adhoc admin duties where necessary Addressing any unforeseen issues, such as delays or damaged goods, to ensure minimal impact on delivery Requirements: Previous experience within a similar role Excellent attention to detail Results driven and energetic Flexible and reliable with a good attitude Good time management Advantageous coming from a manufacturing or engineering background This is a great opportunity to join a fast paced organisation within the Manufacturing industry.
