Colchester .This role offers a fantastic opportunity to specialise in property disputes while also having exposure to a wider range of civil and commercial litigation work.The role

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a varied caseload of property-related disputes, acting for a diverse client base that includes landlords, some tenants and various diverse businesses including care home providers and agricultural land owners. Matters will include:Residential and commercial landlord and tenant disputes.Possession and forfeiture claims.Party Wall disputes.Property negligence related issues.Breach of covenant and dilapidations claims.Easements, boundaries, and rights of way issues.Adverse possession and nuisance claims.Lease Renewals and Enfranchisement matters;Land Registry rectification claims.Alongside property litigation, there will be scope to work on a broader mix of civil and commercial litigation matters such as high-value debt recovery, contractual disputes, construction matters, regulatory work, and contentious probate. Experience in the above is not a pre-requisite but a a willingness to obtain broad experience within the department would be desirable. Prior experience in some or any of these areas would also be valued.What we''re looking for:

A minimum of 2+ years PQE, with solid experience in property litigation.A genuine interest in dispute resolution and a desire to develop a well-rounded litigation practice;.Strong advocacy, negotiation, and client care skills.An organised and proactive approach to managing cases.The ability to work well within a team and a willingness to support the wider firm.The package:
