Description

The key responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner include:

Collaborate with operational, commercial, and supply chain teams to provide financial insight and drive decision-makingDeliver meaningful analysis of financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunitiesLead and support the planning cycle, ensuring robust, data-driven budgets and rolling forecastsMonitor cost drivers, challenge assumptions, and support initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiencyAct as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing financial modelling and scenario planning to support strategic initiativesDevelop and deliver clear, actionable financial reports and dashboards for non-finance stakeholdersEvaluate business cases and capital expenditure proposals, ensuring alignment with strategic and financial goalsEnsure financial controls are adhered to and support audit, risk, and compliance activitiesProactively identify process improvements and contribute to finance transformation projects

Profile

The successful Finance Business Partner should have some or all of the following:

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholdersProven experience in a business partnering role within a complex or fast-paced environmentSolid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insightConfident working cross-functionally with both finance and non-finance teamsProactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and adding valueComfortable handling ambiguity and supporting change in a growing or evolving businessAdvanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and reporting tools is a plusWorking towards qualification(e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
