Mott MacDonald Bentley are recruiting for a Head of Engineering to join the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA).The 330km Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) Project by Anglian Water is under construction and will be completed during AMP8. Beyond this we have a further 260km of water transfer pipelines and associated infrastructure to be delivered in AMP8.What will you be doing as our new Head of Engineering? As our new Head of Engineering, you will be accountable for all aspects of the design and management of the Engineering function, including managing resources both internal and external along with engineering outputs and quality.The Head of Engineering is a key leadership role within the Strategic Pipeline Alliance project and is accountable for all design activities. The role forms part of the SPA Senior Leadership Team (SLT). visible, and you will be required to be an active and approachable leader to both within the Alliance and the Engineering team.Key responsibilities: Develop and maintain the Engineering Strategy and resource needs to ensure appropriate resources are in place to meet the SPA delivery requirements, including utilisation of partner Global Design resources Ensure your teams have the required capacity, capability, and competency to meet the needs of the business.
