About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality teaching across Key Stage 1, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to succeed. Working closely with colleagues, you will help deliver a creative curriculum that encourages curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging KS1 lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
• Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupil progress
• Supporting pupils’ wellbeing and personal development
• Working collaboratively with staff and communicating effectively with parents and carers

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be a creative, reflective, and enthusiastic KS1 practitioner
• Demonstrate calm and positive behaviour management strategies
• Be passionate about supporting pupils’ academic and emotional development
• Have high expectations for all learners
• Be an excellent communicator and team player
• Hold QTS (ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply)
