PPT Drivers / Pickers Wanted - NN4 Area

Barker Ross is currently recruiting for experienced PPT Drivers / Pickers to join a busy warehouse operation in the NN4 area.

Pay & Shifts:
-12.72 per hour
Monday to Friday
Shift options:
10:00 - 18:00
13:30 - 22:00

Purpose of the Role
To carry out day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. You will play a key role in ensuring shipments are handled accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out core warehouse duties including goods receipt, storage, picking, packing, loading, and unloading
Operate PPT equipment safely and efficiently (experience required)
Perform checks to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with procedures
Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues
Use scanning systems to track and manage stock accurately
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Follow health & safety guidelines at all times
Support continuous improvement within warehouse operations

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) experience
Experience handling heavy or high-value goods
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer literacy
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Awareness of health & safety practices
