We want passionate risk-takers who like to challenge our thinking, live and breathe digital, and have an affinity to the world of nutrition, health, fitness, and sports.IN A NUTSHELLAs CFO, you will be a strategic leader and board member, responsible for the financial health and sustainable growth of Bulk as the business drives forward with its plans to gain market share across the UK and Europe. You will drive financial strategy, overseeing both commercial finance and financial accounting/operations, providing insightful analysis to support key business decisions, ensuring sustainable profitability and market expansion. You will be responsible for the corporate three-year plan, funding requirements, and play a key role in any corporate finance activity. You\''ll also own legal relationships with the third-party counsels used by the business.WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Executive LeadershipServe as a key member of the Board and Senior Leadership team, providing financial expertise and strategic guidance to the CEO and Founders/Directors.Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.Support the SLT to drive initiatives for operational efficiency and cost optimization across all business functions.Work with the CCO to drive insight into commercial activities and drive sustainable growth.Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to internal and external stakeholders, including investors and partners.Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting standards in the UK and European territories.Commercial FinanceOversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the entire business with a focus on driving continual, sustainable growth.Develop and implement robust financial models to support strategic decision-making, including pricing strategies, unit economics across markets, and working capital management.Own reporting across the business, providing all teams with timely and actionable dashboards and data.Partner with commercial teams to optimise revenue generation and gross margin.Drive ad hoc analysis by product, channel, and market segment, providing actionable insights.Lead any corporate finance due diligence as required.Accounting and ControlOversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll in both UK and Poland.Ensure the timely and accurate reporting of monthly financial statements and insight reports, presenting to the board and articulating performance, risks and opportunities.Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.Oversee the preparation and submission of all tax filings and ensure adherence to tax regulations across the UK and Europe.Oversee external audits and develop strong relationships with auditors.Develop, as necessary, financial reporting systems to provide timely and accurate financial information.TreasuryManage the company\''s cash flow, working capital, and foreign exchange exposure across multiple currencies.Develop and execute treasury policies and foreign exchange hedging to ensure efficient liquidity management.Assess and manage financial risks, including interest rate and currency risks.Oversee debt financing relationships and activities, including covenant compliance.Legal

Manage relationships with external counsel and lead internal contract reviews and legal policies, and general legal matters.WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?You\''ll have around 10 years+ finance background, and leadership experience in Retail/FMCG environment.Experience in leading funding processes - debt and/or equityA cross-functional thinker, with the ability to challenge and add value around the board tableStrong data analytics skills, able to produce, interpret, and draw conclusions from data and identify key drivers for performance for your category.Adaptable and able to initiate change and evolution in all aspects of the workplace.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.Leadership - builds a strong sense of community including working collaboratively and proactively supporting colleagues to achieve organisational goals.Results-oriented - focused on getting the job done, decisive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
