Job description - the role

We partner with Arup to support their contingent recruitment processes. Acting as an extension of their recruitment teams, we connect them with skilled interim and temporary professionals, fostering workplaces where everyone can contribute and succeed.
On Behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Construction Manager for a 12 Month contract based in North Fleet London (Part-time 2 days per week)

Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience

What you''ll do:

• Act as the on-site Construction Manager, coordinating contractors and stakeholders.
• Ensure works are carried out safely and in line with site safety requirements.
• Oversee construction activities through multiple phases:
  • First 6 months: Predominantly civils-focused works (e.g. drilling, groundworks).
  • Following phase: Transition into the installation phase.
  • Final -3 months: Support testing and commissioning activities.
• Provide general site supervision and progress oversight throughout the project

The skills you''ll need:

• Valid CSCS card (essential).
• Strong experience working on live construction sites, with a good understanding of site safety.
• Background can be Civils, Mechanical, or general Site/Construction Management.
• Industry background is flexible the key requirement is the ability to manage site activities, contractors, and stakeholders effectively
