Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting Class 2 Refuse Drivers for a local authority based at their Millbrook depot.This is an ongoing contract working Monday to Friday 6am - 4pm.Hourly pay rate 18.26.YOU MUST HAVE THE CORRECT LICENSES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDING VALID CPC AND TACHO CARD!The successful candidate must be able to work responsibly, safely and in a timely manner. Duties will include working as part of a team driving the heavy goods vehicle and loading refuse.Driving assessment and health and safety induction will be given. Duties: - Driving a class 2 vehicle and you will also be required to assist with the loading - To collect paper, green waste, household waste and special collections - Heavy lifting / fast paced - Customer facing Previous experience of the waste industry and of waste collection is preferred but not essential as training will be given.
