You will take ownership of budgeting, forecasting and management reporting, while supporting strategic financial decision-making across multiple schools.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the annual and three-year budget-setting process across all schools in the TrustProduce monthly forecasting and variance analysis, investigating and explaining key variancesPrepare termly management reports for Trustees and Governor meetingsLead on benchmarking, financial metrics and investment appraisalsMonitor income and expenditure consistency and provide guidance to finance teamsSalary, payroll and pension reconciliationsFixed asset accounting, capital grant monitoring and asset register managementSupport statutory accounts preparation and ESFA returns (BFR, BFRO, AAR)Deputise for the Director of Finance when requiredLine manage and develop finance staff, delivering a high-quality finance servicePe
