HR and Operations ManagerScale up Events BusinessOn-site - 5 days per week, 10am-6pmActon - NW10My client an exciting, award winning event producers based in North Acton is seeking an HR and Operations Manager, paying up to 42,000 plus benefits, to support their ambitious and rapidly growing team.The position will be taking the lead to support the companies full HR function while also being involved in some operational support duties. 60% of the job will be HR focused, with 40% being operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing absence and holiday tracking, supporting the consistent application of company policies, and promoting accountability across the team.Duties include the following:HR/ People related tasks:Onboarding new staffDrawing up employee contractsDealing with staff concerns and escalating to management where neededManaging and maintaining staff records including, sickness, maternity, annual leave etcConducting disciplinary meetings where neededManaging recruitment for the firmOffice Manager/ Operational tasks:Planning and managing staff social eventsCoordinating maintenance and office repairsLiaising with vendors and suppliersAssisting with Health and Safety for the officeThe ideal candidate will be people focused HR professional who enjoys being that go-to person for a team. You will have a background in HR, and experience being the sole person with HR knowledge for an organisation. A CIPD level 5 qualification would also be advantageous. You will
