Assist the Head of Underwriting Management in delegating underwriting and claims processes, ensuring they are appropriate;Onboard and train underwriters, coverholders, and provide ongoing training as directed by the UOM; monitor and report exceptions against Delegated Authorities; oversee both Syndicate and AIG activities;Support the HoUM in developing performance reports and MI;Oversee Talbot’s overseas offices to ensure compliance with the delegated underwriting monitoring framework;Report and present at Committee meetings (DAOG, CR-POG, and ad hoc AIG meetings).You will work with the Underwriting Management Team to meet deadlines and will be responsible for key items within the Underwriting Controls framework. This is a significant role overseeing the approval and monitoring of all DA and DCA business, liaising across teams in advisory and challenge capacities.You are expected to lead the DA function, providing guidance and training to the team and wider business on all aspects of DA.What you’ll need to succeed
Experience with delegated authority underwriting practices within Lloyd’s;General Insurance knowledge;Experience managing a team, with proven coaching and talent development skills;Part-qualified CII (minimum certificate level);Numerate and IT literate.Ready to advance your career?
