Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Glascoed.

• Designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing solutions
• Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to resolve production issues
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Developing and maintaining process documentation and work instructions
• Monitoring production metrics and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Providing technical support to production teams and troubleshooting operational problems
• Coordinating with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services

• Experience in manufacturing engineering within the Defence & Security sector
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and methodologies
• someone who has worked in a lab previously
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• BPSS security clearance to start
• Ability to work onsite from Monday to Thursday, with flexibility to consolidate 37 hours into 4 days
