Overview

We are looking for an Account Director to join our successful Sales team in our Cloud, Cyber and IT Business Unit at ARO. You will be an experienced senior representative with solid experience of nurturing and managing significant brand names and an in depth knowledge of multiple lines of technical solutions. This position is crucial for ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT solutions, including cloud services, cyber security, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and next-gen networking. The Senior Account Director will be responsible for understanding client needs, developing strategic plans, and ensuring that all solutions are aligned with client requirements and business objectives. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with key clients, drive business growth, and contribute to ARO\''s success by delivering innovative IT solutions.Please note that home based role with weekly national travel to customer meetings. You will also be required to collaborate with teams in other ARO offices. A full UK driving license is essential.What you''ll do

Develop and implement strategic account plans that align with client objectives and ARO''s business goalsRegularly review and adjust these plans to reflect changing client needs and market conditions, ensuring the continued alignment with client and business goalsBuild and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for their interestsRegularly engage with clients to ensure satisfaction and proactively address concerns or issuesWork closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and maintain high client satisfaction levels across all levels of service architectureIdentify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling ARO\''s services, including cloud solutions, cybersecurity, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and next-gen networkingDevelop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth within existing client accountsApply knowledge of cutting-edge technologies to enhance client operations and deliver advanced, future-proof solutionsIdentify opportunities to introduce new technologies and solutions that can add value to client operationsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, account plans, and project progressProvide regular reports and updates to senior management and clients, ensuring transparency and effective communicationRequirements

What we are looking for?Essential

Proven experience in an account director or a similar role, with knowledge of IT solutions and technology trendsExperience of working with high profile, Enterprise level customersClearly defined success at C-suite levelStrong Vendor Partnership experience, e.g. Microsoft, HP etcExcellent emotional awareness and relationship building skillsKnowledge and experience across a range of verticalsStrong leadership and stakeholder management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to develop and implement strategic plansStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesFull UK Driving licenseDesirable

Relevant industry certifications or qualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM softwareBenefits
