HGV Class 2 Driver – Cannock- Well-established plant hire company hiring a Class 2 Driver in Cannock. Due to continued success, they are now looking to recruit an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team in Cannock.

• Salary between £34,000 and £38,000 per annum

As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of plant machinery to and from customer sites across the local area.

You will represent the business professionally while ensuring equipment is delivered safely, on time, and in excellent condition.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Delivering and collecting plant machinery including dumpers, rollers, and excavators
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring safe loading procedures
• Securing machinery correctly for transport
• Completing delivery paperwork and relevant documentation
• Providing excellent customer service on site
• Supporting the depot team when required

To be successful in this HGV Class 2 Driver role, you should have previous experience delivering plant machinery or working within the plant hire, construction, or related industries.

You should have:

• A valid Class 2 driving licence
• Experience transporting plant machinery or construction equipment
• Good knowledge of safe loading and securing procedures
• A professional and customer-focused attitude
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
