Accounts Assistant SAP
Think Accountancy and Finance have partnered with a well-established organisation based in Hemel Hempstead, who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with all round accounts experience, and looking for a role with long-term potential. SAP experience is essential. The business will be undergoing a system implementation, so candidates must have hands-on experience using SAP Enterprise, Business One or SAP S/4HANA, and be confident navigating the system from day one. This position will include some purchase ledger, sales ledger, and general ledger tasks, as well as overseeing automated processes. Every day can look different so you will need to be adaptable and comfortable with change! Key Responsibilities:Processing accounts payable invoices, including coding, posting and reconciliationsMatching supplier invoices to goods receipts and resolving discrepanciesPreparing supplier payments and employee expense paymentsManaging supplier statement reconciliations and invoice queriesAllocating customer cash receipts and supporting automated processesChasing overdue payments and maintaining accurate customer recordsSupporting credit control procedures, including credit limits and order releaseAssisting with month-end close activitiesMaintaining and reconciling the cash bookSupporting internal finance processes and ad-hoc administration Skills and Experience Required:Previous experience working within a finance
