Salary: -115 - -125 per day

Long Term Futures is working in partnership with a forward-thinking and supportive secondary school to recruit an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant for a September start. This is a long-term role with the potential to become permanent following a successful initial period.

In this role, you will collaborate with teaching staff to deliver engaging learning activities, lead small groups or full classes, and help students achieve their academic goals. You will also take on a mentoring capacity for fellow support staff and actively contribute to school life.

• HLTA qualification (or willingness to gain this within two years)

• Minimum Grade C/4 in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)

• Previous experience in a secondary school setting

• Good knowledge of the national curriculum

• Background in supporting pupils with SEND, EAL, or behavioural needs

• Competent in using ICT for learning and lesson planning

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

• Confident in leading learning within the classroom

• An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills

• Adaptable, proactive, and capable of working independently

• Passionate about inclusive education and pupil progress

• Eager to grow professionally within a school that invests in its team

• Dependable, professional, and collaborative
