Are you a skilled and qualified Vehicle Technician looking to join a trusted, forward-thinking employer with a strong focus on people and quality? We’re looking for a Vehicle Technician / Master Technician to join our Ford dealership in Leicester, someone who’s passionate about diagnostics, vehicle safety, and continuous development.

What you'll be doing:

As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll be the technical expert in the workshop. You’ll carry out diagnostics, testing, servicing, and repairs to the highest standards, supporting your team by mentoring others and ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every stage. You will:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on vehicles
• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance in line with manufacturer standards
• Complete electronic vehicle health checks (eVHC) and provide technical advice to customers and colleagues
• Ensure all work is recorded accurately and in line with compliance and safety standards
• Mentor and support apprentice technicians and other team members
• Collaborate with the wider workshop and service teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Participate in manufacturer training and ongoing professional development

What we’re looking for in a Vehicle Technician :

• A Level 3 vehicle technician qualification (or equivalent)
• A full UK driving licence
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
• Confidence to support and coach colleagues
• Good communication skills, both with customers and within the team
• A proactive, positive approach to change and continuous improvement

Previous experience working with Ford or in a main dealer setting is an advantage, but not essential, we support learning and development for the right candidate.
