Warehouse Operative - Backshift (Counterbalance Forklift Licence Required)

Location: Eurocentral, Motherwell
Salary: £13.00 - £16.00 per hour (DOE) - Weekly Pay
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 15:30 - 00:30 (overtime required on busier evenings)
Contract: Temp to Perm (Permanent contract offered after 12 weeks)
Manpower is currently recruiting for a hardworking and motivated Warehouse Operative to join a leading logistics company based in Eurocentral, Motherwell. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence who is keen to learn, grow, and progress into a supervisory role in the future.

Please note: Due to the location and shift times, own transport is essential for this role.

About the Role:

As a Warehouse Operative on the backshift, you''ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse operation. You''ll be responsible for safely and efficiently handling, moving, and storing goods, while maintaining high levels of accuracy and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently (valid and in-date licence required)
• Load, unload, and move stock within the warehouse
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
• Maintain accurate stock control and a clean working environment
• Support supervisors and assist with daily warehouse operations
• Be flexible and available for overtime during busy periods

About You:

• Valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
• Own transport to travel to Eurocentral due to shift times (essential)
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience
• A proactive attitude and strong work ethic
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work overtime when required
• Ambition to progress into a supervisory position
