A highly respected, privately-owned construction company, is looking for a

Contracts Manager

to join its team. This company has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the public sector, with a portfolio that includes schools, hospitals, council buildings, and hotels.

The company is seeking a

Contracts Manager

to oversee a substantial portfolio, working on projects typically valued at 5m to 15m, with occasional larger contracts up to 25m. The successful candidate will be a well-presented, confident leader who can serve as the primary point of contact for their projects and represent the company''s commitment to quality and client focus.

Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of multiple construction projects, from initial planning to final handover.

Lead and motivate site teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Maintain and build strong relationships with clients and the supply chain.

Effectively manage project costs, risks, and quality standards.

Utilize excellent project management skills to prepare and deliver accurate reports on project progress.

Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will be an experienced Contracts Manager with a proven track record of controlling projects of 2m to 3m and above. You will be expected to demonstrate your ability to manage multiple projects at this level.

The company is open to candidates from firms of a similar size or smaller, but would also consider those from larger corporate backgrounds who can clearly articulate their desire to work in a more personal, client-focused environment.
